Origins: Tibetan Mastiffs were initially
bred in Tibet China to guard flocks of the nomadic
people.
Description: Tibetan Mastiffs are large
strong well-built dogs that are well muscled with
a broad deep chest square broad head, with floppy
ears and a tail that curls over it's back.
Size: Tibetan Mastiffs weigh 140 to 180
lbs, they stand 25 to 28 inches tall at the shoulder.

Coat: Tibetan Mastiffs have a long thick
double coat. Tibetan Mastiffs can have coats that
are black, brown, black and tan, brown and tan,
blue gray, and red gold.
Disposition: The temperment and disposition
of the Tibetan Mastiff is markedly different of
those bred from the East to the West. Those in
the west have an easier going temperment, while
those in the east tend to be higher strung and
more tenacious.

to litters of 5 to 12 puppies.
Behavior: Tibetan Mastiff are strong willed,
and very determined, they are brave when facing
