Origins: Doberman Pinschers originiated
in Germany, to assist the tax collector
and guard against thieves.
Description: Doberman Pinschers
are medium to large sized dogs that are
well muscled, long and lean. Dobermans
have a long narrow nose, and floppy ears
and a long thin tail, as with many other
guard dog breeds it is not uncommon for
Dobermans to have their ears and tail,
docked and cropped.
Size: Doberman Pinschers weigh
60 to 100 lbs, they stand 25.5 to 27.5
inches tall at the shoulder.
