Origins: Swedish Vallhunds are
a very old breed that is said to go back
to the time of the Vikings. Over the years
the were bred to herd cows and as ratting
dogs.
Description: Swedish Vallhunds
resemble the Corgi dog breed in appearance
and stature. They are low to the ground
with long bodies and short legs, they
have erect ears.
Size: Swedish Vallhunds are small
dogs they weigh 19 to 30 lbs, they stand
12 to 14 inches tall.
