Origins: Yorkshire Terriers originated
to hunt rats. They were initially designed by
miners in the Yorkshire area of England.
Description: Yorkshire Terriers are one
of the smallest dog breeds. They have square proportions,
and diminutive features. They have small triangular
erect ears, and a naturally short tail. The most
notable trait of the Yorkie is their long silky
fur.
Size: Yorkshire Terriers weigh 3 to 7
lbs, and stand 6 to 9 inches tal lat the shoulder.

Coat: Yorkshire Terriers have long, glossy,
silky coats. They are dark steely blue from the
tip of their head dow to their tail, their face,
chest and tail are tan.
Disposition: Yorkshire Terriers are eager
for adventure and trouble. They are spirited and
spunky, their inquisitive nature sometimes gets
them into trouble.

give birth to litters with up to 5 puppies.
