Origins: Puli were initially bred
to herd sheep.
Description: Puli dogs are sturdy
dogs, that are noted for their long dreadlock
like curls that cover their coat. They
have long bodies and shorter legs, giving
them a rectangular body shape. Puli dogs
carry their tail high above their back.
Size: Puli dogs weigh 25 to 35
lbs and stand 16 to 17 inches tall at
their shoulder.

Coat: Puli dogs are known for
their long, corded coats that resemble
dread locks. Their coats are black, white,
gray, and apricot.
Disposition: Puli can be standoffish
with strangers. They are full of energy,
and can be headstrong. They may be aggressive
with other dogs, and protective of their
family.

Litter Size: Pulik give birth
to litters of up to 3 puppies.
Behavior: Puli dogs require exercise
on a daily basis, they are herd dogs at
heart and happier when they have a job
to do.
