Rottweiler Dog Traits
The Rottweiler originated in Germany in the 1800s.
Rottweiler were developed in the town of Rottweil, where
it was initially usually to drive cattle and as a guard
dog.
The Rottweiler is a medium large breed. Rottweiler
has a very powerful muscular chest, large head with
short black fur with tan markings. Rottweilers are 90-110
lbs and they are 23-27 inches tall. They have a docked
tail. Female Rottweilers are slightly smaller than their
male counterparts.
Rottweilers are known for strength, agility and endurance.
Rottweilers are confident, bold and imposing. Rottweilers
are known for their capacity to protect. They can be
headstrong, stubborn, and intimidating. Rottweilers
are often guarded with strangers, especially if they
feel their family is threatened. The Rottweiler requires
consistent exercise and socialization.
The Rottweiler requires minimal grooming, to remove
dead hair.
Rottweilers have a typical life span of 8-11 years.
